A little about myself.
What I’m working on
Building a marketplace for real estate institutions to scan and offer on multi-million dollar portfolios
Helping landlords and investors manage their leases and tenants
Organizing a multi-brand design system
What I’m looking for
After thriving in small tight-knit teams, I am looking to join a more mature design org where I can leverage my skills and collaborate with a wider range of designers.
Take a look at my spread of my core skills.
My design philosophy
Always be curious and humble
We all come from different backgrounds and have a different intuitions and ideas of “good design.
Design should be driven by collaboration not egos.
Be open-minded to all ideas and perspectives.
Listen to understand rather than to respond.
Simplify to clarify
Complexity should not be eliminated but translated into an easy-to-use thoughtful experience. What is perceived as clear and simple isn't universal—it's shaped by culture, upbringing, and industry context.
As designers, we understand that simple designs perform better, but we need to create space for users to define clarity on their terms.
Design with intent
Every micro-decision in designs should carry intent. Each feature within a product has an intentional purpose. The sum of these deliberate choices create an experience that can impact, empower, or inspire.
Design to instill confidence
My goal isn’t to change the world or improve lives. It's to make people feel confident and in control when using tech. When this is achieved, only then could we spark the broader impact we all hope for.
My design journey
Growing up, I saw design as an art form, a feeling, a luxury. Costume design was my first experience where form and function came together, but it felt nicely tucked away in its own world of theater and film. I explored store management, media planning, and demand planning, trying to satisfy my interests in product, collaboration, and behavior analysis, but I still felt as if I wasn’t solving real problems.
I discovered Don Norman’s The Design of Everyday Things, and as cliché as it sounds, it was the first time everything just clicked.
In 2018, I took a leap of faith, quitting my job to join a 3-month bootcamp. 6 years later and still figuring things out, I’ve established UX and design strategy in both legacy and startup teams, and am designing B2B solutions that are simple, intentional, and impactful.
Beyond design
Currently exploring San Diego as my new home. You can catch me hiking, trying new wines, or playing video games in my free time!
